     Thank you.

It cannot be denied that today Christianity is the world’s biggest religion and it is growing every year.
Different countries from all over the world have at least one Christian sect in its fold. From the deep safari desert of Africa to the tropical forests of the Americas right down to the different places in Asia, Christianity is present. The message of our Lord Jesus Christ about love, forgiveness, and peace have resonated throughout the ages, crossed seas, and broken down borders despite some institutions and governments trying to put a stop to it.
Yes, even in this day and age a lot of people still get persecuted for bringing the wonderful message of hope.

Yet, despite all these trials and tribulations, the Christian faith and tradition lives on and continues to flourish. Many people who do not believe are left dumbfounded at the way Christianity has persevered. It is nothing short of miraculous on how after all this time Christianity still lingers and has become strong. But, if only one takes the time to sit down and analyze things they will realize that the faith is preserved and is passed on to others not simply by preaching through word of mouth and doing good deeds but also  by sticking to sacred and holy traditions that help the believer have a deeper connection with the Lord.

One of the most common symbols to be found in Christianity is the cross. This is the ultimate symbol of God’s love. What used to be a grim form of death and torture in barbaric times was transformed into a symbol of ultimate sacrifice, selflessness, salvation and redemption. The cross represents a lot of things associated with Christianity. Traditionally, a cross is worn as an ornament in the form of a necklace. During holidays a cross is often prominently displayed to remind celebrants of the sacrifice Jesus did for us so we can be able to enjoy our lives today. The cross as an object reminds us to be spiritual. Whenever we see a cross hanging or just being displayed our minds subconsciously gets reminded of Jesus Christ. This trigger allows us to never lose hope and to always be in touch with our Savior. Faith is a powerful force and even if our faith is only the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains and accomplish a lot of things. But sometimes we stray or temporarily forget our life’s journey. Having a visual reminder of what our real path should be is always helpful to pull us back on track.

A Beautiful Day

I am happy to announce that at long last I am at the end of my first round of University training. God has given me many blessings along the way. However, perhaps the biggest blessing of all is the wonderful knowledge that no matter what happens He is with me, and guiding me on the path that pleases Him. It is truly a beautiful day.
As I meditate on where God is leading me in the future the one thing I am sure of is that God will open the doors, and guide me where it pleases Him.
May God bless you richly in your walk with Him as well.

God Loves you!

Humanity and Sin

It is interesting that in my theology class we are discussing the book of Romans this week. Then I received my daily scripture in my E-Mail, and what do you know but it is on Paul’s letter to the Roman’s. He does a beautiful job in Romans 3:23-24 describing how all humans are trapped in sin. Yet, through God’s great mercy we are given the opportunity to have our sins forgiven through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. What a wonderful opportunity for all people to have a fresh start.

Faith

Hi
Today I received a beautiful E-Mail on the importance of faith. What a wonderful reminder of this central part of our Christian walk with God. It is easy enough to get caught up in our daily lives and concerns. All the cares of this life can be overwhelming. Yet, no matter what else is going on, God is always there wanting to help us.
May God bless you in your walk with Him.
